The Parker domnick hunter BA-DME range of Breathing Air
Purifiers is ideal for point of use multiple personnel
protection at medium flow rates.
At the inlet, a General
Purpose Filter removes particles, dirt and aerosols, followed
immediately by a second stage High Efficiency Coalescing
Filter to reduce oil and water content and a third stage
Activated Carbon Filter to remove oil vapor and odors.
The fourth stage adsorption dryer, reduces the water vapor
content of the compressed air (to -40°F (-40°C) pdp) and CO2,
NO and NO2 levels to below the legal permissible limits.
Downstream of the adsorption dryer, a catalyst converts
carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide, again, to below the legal
limits. A final Dust Filter captures any particulates carried
over from the adsorption materials.
• 6 Purification stages
• CO and CO2 reduction to below legal permissible limits
• Use with any compressed air supply
1. All BA-DME models are manufcatured with BSP connections. BSP to NPT adapters are included as standard (ship loose).
2. Stated flows are for operation at 7 bar g (100 psi g / 0.7 MPa g) with reference to 20ºC, 1 bar a, 0% relative water vapor pressure. Consult mdi for flow rates at other conditions.
3. (DDS) Dewpoint Dependent Switching Option.
4. Optional CO monitor ships loose. CO monitor is CE only (not UL).
5. BA-DME units are CE only (Not UL). BA-DME units do not have CRN.
Sizing and Selection
To ensure quoted air purity performance is met, a breathing air system must be sized correctly for minimum operating pressure, maximum inlet temperature and maximum inlet flow rate using the correction factors found in the Product Information Sheet.
